มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ วิทยาเขตเฉลิมพระเกียรติ จังหวัดสกลนคร เข้าร่วมงาน GCHERA World Agriculture Prize Award Ceremony 2026 เมื่อวันที่ 28-29 ตุลาคม 2569 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์หนานจิง (Nanjing Agricultural University: NAU) เมืองหนานจิง สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ซึ่งจัดควบคู่กับการประชุมประจำปีของ Consortium for Innovations in Agricultural Education and Research in Asia (CIAERA) และ Asia Hub เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษาและการวิจัยทางการเกษตรในระดับนานาชาติ

ในการนี้ ผศ.น.สพ.ดร.คงศักดิ์ เที่ยงธรรม อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ มอบหมายให้ ผศ.ดร.ศมณพร สุทธิบาก รองอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ วิทยาเขตเฉลิมพระเกียรติ จังหวัดสกลนคร เป็นผู้แทนอธิการบดี พร้อมด้วย ผศ.ดร.ศุภสิทธิ์ สิทธาพานิช คณบดีคณะทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร ดร.ภาคภูมิ ตันเตชสาธิต หัวหน้าภาควิชาเกษตรและทรัพยากร และ รศ.ดร.ภูวดล โดยดี อาจารย์ประจำภาควิชาเกษตรและทรัพยากร เข้าร่วมงานดังกล่าว

วันที่ 28 ตุลาคม 2569 ผศ.ดร.ศมณพร สุทธิบาก ได้รับเชิญเข้าร่วมเป็นผู้ร่วมกล่าวสุนทรพจน์ในนามมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ เรื่อง Higher Education Systems for the Study of Agriculture and Rural Development (Lessons from Kasetsart University, Thailand) (ระบบอุดมศึกษาเพื่อความยืดหยุ่นในการพัฒนาการเกษตรและชนบท (บทเรียนจากมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ประเทศไทย) จากนั้นร่วมอภิปราย (Panelist) ในการประชุม Session III: Resilient Education Systems ภายใต้หัวข้อ “How Agricultural and Forestry Universities Consolidate the Foundation for Sustainable Agricultural and Rural Development through Talent Cultivation and Knowledge Services” (มหาวิทยาลัยด้านการเกษตรและป่าไม้จะเสริมสร้างรากฐานการพัฒนาภาคการเกษตรและชนบทอย่างยั่งยืน ผ่านการพัฒนาบุคลากรและการบริการองค์ความรู้ได้อย่างไร) โดยเป็นเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นร่วมกับผู้แทนจากองค์กรและสถาบันการศึกษานานาชาติ เพื่อหารือถึงบทบาทของมหาวิทยาลัยในการพัฒนาทรัพยากรบุคคล การถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ และการสนับสนุนการพัฒนาภาคการเกษตรและชนบทอย่างยั่งยืน จากนั้นได้มีการประชุมร่วมกับ ศาสตราจารย์เฟิง ซู่ยี่ รองอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์หนานจิง (Prof. Feng Shuyi, Vice President Nanjing Agricultural University NAU) เพื่อหารือด้านการแลกเปลี่ยนและความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศ ของทั้ง 2 มหาวิทยาลัย

วันที่ 29 ตุลาคม 2569 ร่วมเดินทางเยี่ยมชม หอจัดแสดงนิทรรศการการวางผังเขตใหม่เจียงเป่ย (Jiangbei New Area), พื้นที่เกษตรกรรมมาตรฐานสูงหลานฮวาถัง (Lanhuatang) ,พื้นที่เกษตรกรรมมาตรฐานสูงหลานฮวาถัง และศูนย์นวัตกรรมเกษตร

การเข้าร่วมงานและกิจกรรมทางวิชาการครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ในการขยายเครือข่ายความร่วมมือกับสถาบันการศึกษาระดับนานาชาติ โดยเฉพาะในกลุ่มประเทศลุ่มน้ำโขง หรือ The Greater Mekong Subregion,(GMS) ตลอดจนเป็นการสานความร่วมมือที่ดีอย่างต่อเนื่องระหว่าง KU และ NAU ทั้งการแลกเปลี่ยนนิสิต ทุนการศึกษา งานวิจัย และอื่นๆ โดยเฉพาะสาขาเกษตร ส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และประสบการณ์ ตลอดจนยกระดับศักยภาพด้านการศึกษาและการวิจัยทางการเกษตร เพื่อขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนในระดับภูมิภาคและระดับสากล ต่อยอดจากการที่ได้เคยเข้าร่วมงาน The Inauguration Ceremony of the CIAERA & 2023 Asia Hub Annual meeting ณ มณฑลไห่หนาน สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน เมื่อปี 2566

Kasetsart University Chalermphrakiat Sakon Nakhon Province Campus (KU.CSC) participated in the GCHERA World Agriculture Prize Award Ceremony 2026, held on 28–29 October 2026 at Nanjing Agricultural University (NAU) in Nanjing, People’s Republic of China. The event was organized in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Consortium for Innovations in Agricultural Education and Research in Asia (CIAERA) and the Asia Hub, aiming to promote international collaboration in agricultural education and research.

On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Khongsak Thiangtum, President of Kasetsart University, appointed Asst. Prof. Dr. Samonporn Suttibak, Vice President of KU.CSC, to represent the University President. The KU.CSC delegation also included Asst. Prof. Dr. Suphasit Sitthaphanit, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Resources and Agro-Industry; Dr. Phakphoom Tantachasatid, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Resources; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Puvadol Doydee, a faculty member of the Department of Agriculture and Resources.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Samonporn Suttibak was invited to deliver a speech on behalf of Kasetsart University entitled “Higher Education Systems for the Study of Agriculture and Rural Development: Lessons from Kasetsart University, Thailand.” She subsequently participated as a panelist in Session III: Resilient Education Systems, under the theme “How Agricultural and Forestry Universities Consolidate the Foundation for Sustainable Agricultural and Rural Development through Talent Cultivation and Knowledge Services.”

The session provided an international platform for exchanging perspectives with representatives from international organizations and academic institutions on the role of universities in human resource development, knowledge transfer, and the promotion of sustainable agricultural and rural development.

During the visit, the KU.CSC delegation also held a meeting with Prof. Feng Shuyi, Vice President of Nanjing Agricultural University, to discuss opportunities for international exchange and further cooperation between the two universities.

The journey can also include visits to the Jiangbei New Area—which features a wide range of systems—as well as the Lanhuatang high-standard agricultural zone and its associated agricultural innovation center.

KU.CSC’s participation in this international event reflects Kasetsart University’s commitment to expanding its international academic network, particularly among countries in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS). It also reinforces the longstanding collaboration between Kasetsart University and Nanjing Agricultural University, with potential opportunities to expand cooperation in student exchange, scholarships, joint research, and other academic activities, particularly in agriculture.

Through these engagements, Kasetsart University aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience, strengthen its capacity in agricultural education and research, and contribute to sustainable development at both regional and global levels.

This participation also builds upon the University’s previous engagement in the Inauguration Ceremony of CIAERA and the 2023 Asia Hub Annual Meeting, held in Hainan Province, People’s Republic of China, in 2023, further demonstrating its continued commitment to international collaboration in agricultural education and research.
